EAA Chapter 723 is based at Camarillo Airport (KCMA) in Camarillo, CA.

  1. Promote, encourage, and facilitate an atmosphere where all are welcome to join-in and become a part of recreational aviation.
  2. Promote, encourage, and foster an environment that celebrates and nurtures the participation of families and the spirit of volunteerism within the world of recreational aviation.
  3. Promote, encourage, and facilitate an environment that fosters safety and high standards in the design, construction, restoration, and operation of all types of recreational aircraft.
  4. Promote, encourage, and facilitate recreational aviation activities that provide educational opportunities and foster interest in aviation for community youth, chapter members and guests.
  5. Promote a positive, productive, and cooperative relationship between the Chapter and those governmental agencies and private enterprises that provide aviation services and facilities ....



Our Mission

About Us



To Fulfill This Mission, Chapter 723’s 200+ Volunteers:

  1. Provide space in two owned hangars at the Camarillo airport for public monthly meetings, seminars and educational classes on all aspects of general aviation as well as space for completing owner/builder aircraft projects.  Meetings open to all aviation enthusiasts are held in the hangars on the second Saturday  of each month, starting with coffee and donuts at 9:00 am.  The meetings include a speaker and end with a lunch at around noon.
  2. Provide financial support to Ventura Military Explorer cadets to attend summer classes at EAA Headquarters in Oshkosh, WI.  (Contact Dave Howells at 805-484-5693 to get more information about the Aviation Platoon.)
  3. Provide airplane rides free to over 400 youngsters aged 8-18 annually with no gratuity or compensation for our out of pocket costs of flying the airplanes as part of our Young Eagles. For more information, see our Young Eagles page on this web site

EAA Chapter 723 is organized as a California 501©3 charitable corporation, on the Registry of Charitable Trusts as CT0134352.  The formal title is Camarillo Chapter No 723, Experimental Aircraft Association, located at 501 Aviation drive, Camarillo. CA 93010.  Donations are welcome, tax deductible and 100% goes to the charitable causes supported above.
